PROTECTA® FR PIPE WRAP
Protecta® FR Pipe Wrap is graphite material, within a flexible plastic sleeve that reacts to heat expanding to fill the void created by the melting plastic through penetration. It can be used with plastic pipes (PVC, PE, ABS and Friaphon), bundles of plastic pipes - with or without cables, and cable bundles.
Fitted by wrapping it around the through-penetration and securing with the adhesive tape, then cast into the wall or floor construction. Protecta® FR Pipe Wrap can also be fitted in Protecta® FR Board.
Main uses: The intended use of Protecta® FR Pipe Wrap is to reinstate fire resistance performance of flexible wall constructions, ridged wall construction and ridged floor construction where they are penetrated by various metal pipe services. They can be used with and without combustible insulation and plastic pipes when used in combination with Protecta® EX mortar and Protecta® FR Board.
PROTECTA® EX MORTAR
Protecta® EX Mortar is a dry white powder consisting of inorganic compounds and perlite. When mixed with water the compounds form a highly thermal insulating fire seal to repvent the spread of fire and smoke through openings in fire rated walls and floors, including openings formed to accomodate building service penetrations.
Protecta® EX Mortar expands by up to 1% by hydraulic action during ensuring a very tight seal around service penetrations and the surrounding construction. Protecta® EX Mortar has a rapid setting time and is easy to sand or drill after cure. The compound dries to an off-white colour which may be painted if required.

PROTECTA® FR BOARD
Protecta® FR Board has been designed to maintain the fire resistance of separating walls/floors where they are breached by single or multiple building services. It consists of a rigid stone wool core, sealed with Protecta® FR Coating on 1 or both faces.
The coating provides an important barrier to the passage of fire, smoke & hot gases through the thickness of the board, reducing the rate at which the stone wool core heats up. This provides a better heat sink for the dissipation of conducted heat through penetrations with higher thermal conductivity.
Selection of the board coated on 1 or both faces is determined by installation considerations & fire resistance requirements. Protecta® FR Board & Protecta® FR Acrylic should be used together for sealing around service penetrations & the adjacent separating construction.

PROTECTA® FR COLLAR
Protecta® FR Collar consist of a two part coated circular steel shell that fits around plastic pipes (PVC, PP, PE, ABS and Friaphon); plastic pipe bundles - with or without cables, and bundles of cables. The collars have a secure and simple locking device..
The steel shell contains a graphite based material that reacts to heat, expanding in the event of a fire to fill the opening left by the melting plastic of the through penetration. It can be fitted on the outside of a wall or floor, or in combination with our Protecta® FR Board or EX Mortar.
Main uses: The intended use of Protecta® FR Collar is to reinstate the fire resistance performance of flexible and rigid wall, and floor constructions where they are penetrated by various servcies.
PROTECTA® FR ACRYLIC
Protecta® FR Acrylic is widely used in markets across Europe. Its exceptional certification across a wide range of fire-stopping applications makes it popular with installers, reducing the need to carry different mastics. Used in combination with Protecta® FR Board establishes it as a unique fire rated FR Acrylic in the PFP market place.
Protecta® FR Acrylic has been tested with various types of penetrations through walls, ceilings and floor constructions. Its intumescent property closes any gaps left by burnt away penetrations.
Main uses: For concrete, masonry and gypsum, sealing cables, pipes and ducts where fire rated partition sections meet.
