Tanking Membranes

Tanking membrane is a rubber bituminous self adhesive cold applied flexible sheet membrane for waterproofing and protection of concrete in such applications as foundations, floor slabs, parking or plaza decks. It offers excellent chemical resistant from chloride or sulphate attack.

Rubberised Bitumen Compound

Is a rubber/bitumen emulsion dark brown in colour applied by brush which dries to form a black, flexible waterproofer on walls and other above ground structures.

Bituminous Black Paint

A solvent borne bituminous black paint. When dry it forms an odourless and taint free bitumen film. For the protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, concrete roofing, felt, fibre cement, corrugated iron, asphalt and wood, against water.

Hydro-Pruf/Liquid Tanking

A high performance, brush applied, damp proof coating consisting of a rubber bitumen emulsion which, when applied, provides a waterproof and vapour resistant barrier. The product, which bonds to a range of building materials, has excellent flexibility and crack resistance even at low temperatures.

Hydro-pruf can be used as a damp proof membrane and water repellent coating prior to masonry work taking place. It is recommended that a minimum of two coats are applied.

Silage Pit Coating (25L)

A high performance, brush applied, damp proof coating consisting of a bitumen emulsion which, when applied, provides a waterproof resistant barrier for silage pits. Black in colour. Also available as a joint compound for cracked floor areas.

SealAcryl (5L / 20L)

A solvent-based, multi-purpose roof coating membrane. Designed to prevent the ingress of water whilst allowing any trapped moisture to escape and evaporate naturally. Manufactured with fibre reinforcement pre-dispersed in the can for ease of application.

Benefits: excellent adhesion, application in damp weather, instant protection, superb solar reflectivity, reinforced membrane, one coat application, seamless, fully flexible, unaffected by temperature.

Application: For renovation of all types of roof structure. Provides waterproof protection of flat and pitched roofs, corrugated asbestos, roof lights, flashings, roofing felt, gutters, slate, asphalt, lead, glasshouses, metal and fibreglass. Will also bridge small gaps and cracks. A one coat application will suffice however experience has shown that a two coat application ensures a greater uniformity of coating thickness. Do not thin, apply by brush or roller.

A high strength cement waterproofer for internal and external rendering, roof screeds, swimming pools, tanks, retaining walls, basement walls and reservoirs. Improves workability and plasticity of concrete and mortar in the wet state and resists water penetration even under pressure. Available in Pink.

Application: Add to gauging water. To obtain maximum benefit the minimum amount of water should be used in the mix together with an appropriately rich cement to sand aggregate ratio. In application, the mortar must be well compacted to give a dense homogenous body. Available as either a pink or green liquid.

A premium grade, solvent-free silicone waterseal conforming to BS6477 part 1,3 and 4. Provides a micro-porous water-repellant coating for masonry work, which, while repelling exterior water, allows the emission of water vapour ensuring the interiors and cavity walls remain dry. Used as a masonry waterproofer suitable for use on brick, stone, concrete and unglazed tiles. It protects the surface against water and frost, providing a micro-porous coating which does not change the aesthetic appearance of a building. A secondary benefit of the product is to repel waterborne dirt and resist fungal growth as well as help reducing heating costs, as energy is not wasted in drying out damp walls.

Application: This product is ready -to-use. Shake well before use. Apply using a brush or non-atomising spray. Conforms to BS6477.
