Cemscreed 5

Cemscreed 5 is a special cement based binder for producing a rapid drying floor screed when mixed with graded aggregates and water. Cemscreed 5 is a rapid drying floor screed developed by Tarmac to fulfill the need for factory produced high performance cement:sand levelling screeds suitable for all common floor finishes. The screed is suitable for light foot traffic after 24 hours(1) and is sufficiently dry to receive all types of floor covering after 7 days.

Cemscreed

Cemscreed is a special cement based binder for producing an early drying high strength floor screed when mixed with graded aggregates and water.

As the binder is mixed under controlled conditions all that is required at site is the addition of a suitable aggregate and water thereby improving the control of components critical to the performance of the finished screed.

Cemscreed can be supplied with fibres pre-blended avoiding the need to add fibres in site

Cemscreed is used to produce bonded, unbonded and floating screeds in internal situations where early foot traffic and quicker drying is required e.g. to allow floor coverings to be laid with shorter installation times.

Lightweight Screed

Limelite Lightweight Screed is a preblended, dry bagged cementitious, lightweight screeding mortar for weight reduction and thermal insulation on floors and roofs.

When used for flooring, the mix does not provide a wearing surface and must therefore be topped. The recommended specification for floors is a monolithic topping of 15mm minimum, 1:4 ready-mixed sand and cement screed. When used on roofs it can be laid to falls and is generally topped with sheathing felt and mastic asphalt.

SBR

SBR Bond is a highly concentrated styrene butadiene emulsion used to make polymer mortars, screeds and renders.

SBR Bond can be mixed with cement as a bonding slurry for screeds, renders and mortars. The improvements allow the production of high strength wearing screeds, thin section screeds, repair mortars and waterproof mortars.

Damtec® Estra is the ideal insulating and vibration separating padding underneath floating screed floors providing significant reduction of footfall sound within the room, providing outstanding elasticity and extremely high resistance to compressive loads. FONOSTOP DUO

FONOSTOP DUO is an acoustic insulation product against foot-traffic noise for floors laid on floating screeds. It consists of a 1.5 mm thick phono-resilient foil, coupled to a nonwoven elastic fabric in polyester fibre, with a thickness of 6.5 mm. This highly efficient acoustic insulation against foot traffic noise is made up of the waterproofing and air tight phono-resistant foil lined with a film of polypropylene fibres coupled to a non woven fabric. The insulation is produced in 10×1.05 m rolls and is provided with a 5 cm overlap fin without any non-woven polyester fabric.

FONOSTOP DUO consists of resistant elastic synthetic fibres which do not split and are not crushed when they are bent or compressed, as in the case of mineral fibres. FONOSTOP DUO, although it is a thin light insulating material, unlike sheets of plastic foam material, does not move when the screed is spread. This is thanks to the ‘Velcro effect’ of the lower face which prevents it from moving, thus preventing “acoustic bridges” which could frustrate the insulating operations.
